Since our community has continually encouraged and inspired us, we’ve continued to add new elements to Nitronic Rush. Today we’re shipping the newest update of the game to version v.2012.03.03.0!
This update features tweaks to existing levels, a couple bug fixes, 3 new Community levels, a new Stunt Mode level, and a new Hardcore level which is our remake of the classic Rush 2049 Gauntlet level!
As usual, to update you simply need to download the newest version of Nitronic Rush on our download page, and run the new installer. Your old scores and ghosts should be fine and won’t be deleted. We originally planned on using a patching system for this update, but since there are new audio tracks the patch would be nearly the same size as a full download. You can read the full changelist below.

Just wow, one of the best arcade racers Ive played in a good few years. very cool TRON like setting awesome sound track, i would happily pay for your game. Split screen an online multilayer would kick ass!.
If you could release it on steam or Xbox arcade i would download without a second thought.
Cant wait to see where this goes!.

It does got a level editor; it’s not exactly userfriendly but it’s there.
How about we put our music their and the game will try to fit a generated track with the music that is played

The game itself is full of awesome, the hardcore levels are extra hard but, there’s a bug that used to piss me off recently.
Know the boost button?Yeah, when this happens, the car boosts itself.And no matter what you press the boost button to unjam it(Xbox360 control or keyboard), it won’t work.Only restarting the game will solve the problem.

totally agree; split screen multiplayer would be the best for the game
Love the game but this new update has caused some video problems for me. All I can see now when in game are the bloom effects. No car, no map, nothing at all.Please fix soon so I can start playing again I am having withdraws.

I have a bug, all the vehicles are locked for me, in fact for Interceptor it says “How did you lock this car?” I can still use it as it’s default, but the Avenger is locked again, even though I beat the game several times and beat it again today to try and reunlock it, did nothing. My scores and achievements are still intact after the update.
How can I fix this? Thanks.
NEVERMIND, just quit and started it up again and it works. Time to unlock Goldenceptor!

looks like some one loved and copied RUSH 2049 had a bonus level where u used wings and twists n flips and dodged stff down an amazing track . just hope this is as good cos that rush level was the best thing I had ever played for excitment an originality . & if ther is no lik o rush 249 then somen gota b telling porkies 🙂
