Nitronic Rush Update #1

Despite it being finals week for us at DigiPen, we still wanted to get the newest update to you guys! Today we’re shipping the update to version 2011.12.12.0.  It’s a pretty small update with 5 new levels, a few bug fixes, and tweaks to existing content.

To update you simply need to download the newest version of Nitronic Rush on our download page, uninstall the game, and run the new installer. Your old scores and ghosts should be fine and won’t be deleted. You can read the full changelist below.

I love this game, I’m not a fan of racing games in general, I’ve only finished one racing game, nfs carbon, usually I play competitive games, rts and moba.

    – Remove the restriction of xbox360controllers only, I had to hack the game to be able to use my controller.
    – Commercialization, I don’t care if you commercialize it, I’d gladly pay for it if it has a fair price that I can afford.
    – Multiplayer, this would be an awesome competitive game with high re-play-ability, with or without collision.

Again thank you for this amazing game.

  17. Snork says:

This is a very promising game if you continue to develop content for it. If it’s not too much can you allow to bind keys through the game’s setting rather than the config file? Just for ease of use.
    Great update nontheless.

  18. Syntax says:

I really hope you decide to put in multiplayer as well, this game reminds me of Trackmania Nations Forever, if the multiplayer would be somewhat similar to that + a similar level editor, then i think you seriously would have a game able to compete with Trackmania’s racing game(s)

  19. bigchunk1 says:

I play the hardcore modes regularly! I can’t get enough of this game. Wall jump boost wall jump boost aaaaaaaaa! I like what you all did with the camera. It seems to make lining up the car with the walls easier. NITRONIC RUUUSH! Maybe one of these days I will get through hardcore black without crashing… haha!
